A Message from the Mayor

On behalf of the citizens of Ituna, I extend a warm welcome to you. Ituna is an agricultural community with a unique Ukrainian culture blended with many other nationalities.We are known for our good food, warmth and hospitality throughout the area. While touring us on-line or in person, stop by for a more complete look at our well-maintained community.  We are proud of our small town, so come and enjoy a memorable visit as our guests.

Currently, the population of Ituna as per Saskatchewan Health is 800. 
Since our last census the growth in population has increased approximately 30 percent.

Public Notices

• Town of Ituna Landfill is opened to the public as follows:

Summer Hours
( May 1 - Oct. 31)
Saturdays 10 am to 4 pm
Wed. 12 noon to 7 pm

Winter Hours
( Nov. 1 - Apr. 30)
Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Landfill fees:
Half ton truck $3.00 per load - Three ton truck $ 5.00 per load
Contractor Fees: ( Off hour Landfill use) Half ton truck $15.00 per load -Three ton truck $40.00 per load


• Paper Recycling

Effective May 15/07 Paper and cardboard will no longer be picked up by the garbage truck with residential garbage or be accepted at the landfill site. All paper must be recycled.  Tin cans, milk and juice cartons, plasticmilk jugs, jars, paint, computers, televisions and glass and plastics on which deposits have been paid will be accepted at the Sarcan Depot.

• Pet Owners

  Purchase a dog or cat license each December for the following year. More information is available in the Ituna Bylaws
  

• Serviced & Unserviced Lots for Sale

The Town Ituna has serviced and unserviced lots for sale. For a map of the lots and additional information including pricing, click here

Tax concessions are available for new construction.  or Email.
Tax concessions are also offered to new businesses in Ituna as well as newly constructed residences. Please contact the Town Office 306 795 2272 for further information.
