A number of facilities and activities are available to seniors within our community.

Ituna Social Club

The Ituna Social Club, located on Main Street, provides a gathering place for local residents to socialize, learn and interact.  The Social Club hosts a wide variety of community events including:

*Bingos:  Fridays at 7:00 pm in the summer and 2:00 pm in the winter.
*Card Games:  Thursday at 1:00 pm.
*Aerobics:  Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:00 am
*Shuffleboard:  Tuesdays at 1:00 pm excluding summer.
*Carpet Bowling:  Wednesdays at 1:00 pm excluding summer.
*Sunrise Health Region Wellness Clinic:  Last Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm (excluding July, August and December).  Clinic provided by Home Care.
*Birthday Parties:  Last Tuesday of the month at 2:00 pm (excluding July and August).
*Meetings:  Second Wednesday of each month excluding summer.

*Annually or Semi-Annually:  Card tournaments, Pot luck suppers, Winter Games Play-Offs, Christmas Parties, Summer Picnics and presentations.
*Occasionally:  Pool games, Bean bags and Flu Vaccination Clinics.
*Organizes summer bus trips to various locations of interest.

Sunshine Manor and Saskatchewan Housing Units

Sunshine Manor provides independent living for seniors. Ten one and two bedroom suites with a common laundry room and common activities area, provide comfortable accommodations for able seniors. In addition, Saskatchewan Housing Corporation also provides low income and senior housing in the form of 20 units containing one bedroom suites.

Ituna Pioneer Health Center - Ituna Pioneer Lodge 

The Ituna Pioneer Health Care Center offers a 38 bed Special Care Home, the Ituna Pioneer Lodge. This is a long term care service which strives to provide an environment in which individuals can achieve and maintain as high a level of independence and life satisfaction as possible, while maintaining the dignity and worth, rights and privileges of each resident. The facility provides accommodation, programs and services which have as a goal to maintain an optimal level of functioning and where possible to facilitate a return to the community. 

Home Care Services

Home Care Services are available to provide nursing care, personal care, home management, meal and volunteer services to seniors able to live in their own homes but needing some assistance. Call 306 795 2911 for further information.

St. Anne's Home Personal Care Home & Assisted Living

Located at 640 Main St South on 13 acres of land surrounded by evergreens, St. Anne's is not a nursing home but provides services to seniors who need to feel safe, secure, entertained and surrounded by loving people. Family can visit at any time.  Services include:

*Three meals and three snacks a day
*Beverages and snacks available throughout the day
*Housekeeping and laundry
*Personal care assistance
*Recreational activities and entertainment
*Weekly interdenominational services in the chapel

Additional services may be obtained through Sunrise Health District Home Care according to the resident's eligibility criteria and assessment.

St. Anne's is currently accepting applications for employment

Ituna Social Club

Most activities at the Social Club are open to the public and the facility is available to rent for small functions such as anniversaries, showers, birthdays, luncheons, bake sales, etc.

The Ituna Pioneer Lodge offers:

*Single resident rooms
*Respite and multipurpose rooms 
* "Home-made" meals
*Visiting Physician at least 3 days per week
*Local clergy visit on weekday mornings for church services 
*Chaplain - St. Paul Lutheran Home ( Melville) visits monthly 
*Formal Activity Program daily Monday to Friday
*Group and individual activities Thursday & Friday evenings
